Though we normally avoid this hike due to crowds, Winter snow results in the road to the top being closed and scares away most hikers leaving the mountain virtually deserted. We'll hike around historic Hessian Lake and then climb to the top where you will have the opportunity to take in amazing views of the Hudson Highlands, the occasional Bald Eagle, and, depending on the weather, views of the NYC skyline.
