Browse for your gear by clicking on the "Nationwide Gear Rental"  menu option at the top of any page.  You can view the options by category or see all on one page (give it a sec to load them all).  Add items to your cart when prompted, along with the desired start and ending rental dates.  The terms options range from 3 to 21 days; call us if you need something longer.

Enter your payment information as a normal secured online checkout, but nothing is charged until we ready your gear for shipment, or 30 days after your order, whichever is earlier.  That gives you plenty of time to make any changes and for us to ensure availability for all of your items before any charges are made.

If you are departing for your trip early on a particular day, you will want to use the day before as your Start Date.  The End Date will be the day you can drop the box back off with your carrier of choice.  Generally, due to shipping carrier schedules, these selected dates will need to be on a regular business day.  You are not charged rent during the transit time or for an early arrival; just for the days between your Start Date and the End Date or actual drop-off date, whichever is later.

This site calculates one-way shipping costs by the total shipping weight of the gear in the cart, assuming Ground shipping from UPS.  To qualify for this shipping cost, your order must be placed far enough in advance to allow for the Ground transit days - anywhere from 1-5 business days depending on distance from us in AZ (see map below).  If there isn't enough time for Ground, we will contact you to see if you wish to have the shipment expedited at additional cost from UPS or can change the date needed.  Note that "shipping weight" for camping gear is nearly always more than its actual carrying weight due to the high volume and low density of most gear items. You can return the gear via any carrier of your choosing, but you should use one that has tracking.  Be sure to tape the box(es) well for a safe return as you are responsible for the gear until it is returned to us.  You must drop it with the carrier by the end date of your rental term to avoid any late charges.  See more details on our  shipping policy page.
